๐Ÿ“ˆ The Quest #79: Remote work trends you need to know to thrive as a virtual facilitator

Hello Friends,

Greetings from Barcelonaโ˜€๏ธ

๐Ÿ™ŒMany thanks for reading The Quest.

If you are joining for the first time, welcome to our deep dive into facilitation, learning, and how to live a creative life.

In this week’s edition ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ’ปRemote work trends you need to know to thrive as a virtual facilitator

Let’s jump right in!

โณI thought learning virtual facilitation was a temporary measure.

When the pandemic hit, I wasn’t convinced that it was worth the time and effort to learn to lead groups online. Surely things would be back to in-person before too long. And this whole virtual facilitation thing would be a thing of the past.

๐Ÿ’ปRemote work is here to stay.

I’m glad I didn’t bet any money on my initial prediction ๐Ÿ˜…. It didn’t take me too many online sessions to realize that a major shift was underway. The latest research points to the fact remote work will increase in the coming years. And it is revolutionizing the way we work.

๐ŸŒŠThe massive shift to online has opened new opportunities.

More people are learning and working online. That means that people who know how to facilitate virtual classes, meetings, training, and events (like you!) will be in high demand. But to seize these opportunities, we need to understand the larger trends that are unfolding.

๐Ÿค”What are the remote work trends you need to know to thrive as a virtual facilitator?

That’s our Quest for this week ๐Ÿ”Ž
