Hello Friends,
Greetings from Barcelona☀️where my son left for university this morning.
His first year was online. His second year will be back to in-person (for now at least 🤞).
I hope that all kids will get once again the full benefits – both academically and socially – of being in school. More on that below.👇

🤔Which is Better: In-Person or Online?
That’s the wrong question. Let’s ask the right one.
A blog I wrote about a debate that is raging as people go back to work and school in-person.
Is in-person better? Or is online the future?
CEO’s, teachers, parents, creators – pretty much everyone has something to say on this topic.
Sometimes it feels like the the two are in a boxing ring. Duking it out. Until one is declared the victor.
With so many gawd-awful online experiences during the pandemic, in-person has a some pretty passionate fans.

The problem is that we are missing the point. Why? We are asking the wrong question.
In-person in and of itself is no guarantee of successful learning and collaboration.
Online left unchecked can be exhausting and harmful to our well-being.
During the Pandemic it’s become clear to me that the real question is not if in-person or online is better. It is how to create meaningful engagement and connection whether it is in-person or online.
